Artwork Specifications
All artwork needs to be provided in a vector PDF format or an EPS Illustrator file.

All files must be 75 dpi or 150 dpi. Most documents prepared for upload should be 75 dpi at 100% of the final print size. Higher resolution means a more detailed image, and also larger file and longer upload time.

We do not accept these files:
  • .png
  • .tiff
  • .gif
  • low resolution jpegs
  • PDFs with jpeg images imbeded

Outline all text
​
Text can be converted to curves (paths) in some graphics programs. This will fix upload errors that result when fonts are not embedded in your file. Following these easy steps will help ensure that your text prints clearly.

How to convert fonts to outlines in Adobe Illustrator:
  • Select all text.
  • Click Type Menu> Type> Create Outlines
  • Text now has a blue outline.
  • Save a copy and re-upload.

​If a flag design template is required one can be downloaded in the Download Template tab. We recomend that our templates are used to ensure the correct sizing and placement.
Instructions
Flag Banner Instructions ​
Step 1 Assemble the first 2 tapered fibreglass rods, starting with the thinnest rod and then adding the next size, making sure they fit snugly together.

Step 2 Insert these 2 rods into the sleeve on the side of the banners.

Step 3 Continue to add the next 2 metal rods until the top rod has been pushed all the way to the end of the sleeve.

Tip: It is important to ensure the rods are positioned right to the end of the sleeve.

Step 4 Bring the bungee string through the grommets on the bottom of the sleeves. Bring it down and adjust the tension of the banner. Secure the metal spring clip on the bottom of the banner to the movable anchor point on the bottom rod. Tie string around the clip to secure the banner.

Tip: If the banner is too loose or too tight, adjust the anchor point up or down accordingly.
Bases
Spike Base
Tap the stake into the ground using a hammer, bring careful not the damage the shorter swivel spindle.

Cross Base
The fixed hard ground cross base weighs about 5 kg and is great for use indoor and outdoor.

Water Bag
The water bag weighs up to about 10 kg when full and we highly recommend its use outdoors.

What is your minimum order?
Our flag minimum order is 1.
What is the turnaround time?
The production time will be 5-7 working days from the day you approve the artwork and confirm the order. The shipping time will be depend on the location and method that you chose. Overnight shipping is available.

Can I choose my own freight company to deliver my goods?
Yes you may, but you will be required to make all the arrangements.

​How much does the freight cost?
That depends on where you are, we will give you an estimate with your quotation.

Who does the artwork design?
In most cases the customer will to do the artwork, but you can ask us do your artwork if you wish. Should you choose us to do the artwork, we will include the cost in our quotation.

Can you help me with my artwork?
Yes, whilst we have templates for all our sizes if you prefer we can design your artwork for you, with typical prices ranging from $30-$60 (brief and requirement dependant).

Am I limited on the number of colours on my flag banner?
No! A flag banner is printed in full colour. Full colour flag banners include unlimited colours, text, graphics and images.

Which shape is best for me?
This is really down to your preference. The sizes are similar for all product styles and all work equally well whether indoor or outdoor.

Single or Double sided?
Again this is down to choice. The single sided is around 75% see through which works really well with images etc. If the flag is double sided with no transparency then this can sometimes suit “text heavy” banner flags meaning the message can be read the “right way” whichever way you view the banner flag.

Can I clean my flag?
You sure can, either just wipe the material down with a soapy sponge. Alternatively just pop the flag (minus the poles of course!!) into the washing machine on a 40°c cycle.

How long do flags last?
Wind is the major enemy of flags and the higher the wind speed then the faster the deterioration. To extend flag life it is advisable to bring flags in at night when they cannot be seen (unless floodlit) and consider not putting them out if high winds of more than 40 km/h are expected on that day. When your flag shows wear, and it will, then effect a repair soonest. Flags can be washed in a normal wash cycle. To keep your flag looking bright it is best to wash sooner rather than trying to bring it back from heavy satining.

I didn’t see the flag or banner style that I’m looking for in the home page. Can you make a different style?
Yes. If you have specific style you are looking for, please contact us. We can help you create your flag or banner with your specification.

I need an OPEN or SALE text flag.
If you are looking for a low cost option and only need text, check out our Generic flags. This option includes a red background with white OPEN or SALE text.

Can I return the flag or banner?
Custom orders are made according to your specifications. We cannot accept returns on custom products. Please take the time to review the proof provided by our graphic designer thoroughly. Once you have approved your order and the signed proof has been received by us indicating that your proof is correct, the order will be non-refundable / non-returnable.
